  • Will the phones in the Matobmobile range accept any SIM card?

  • Why do the phones appear expensive, compared to other brands?

For what these phones are and do they are very good value. The reason they may appear expensive compared to a "Nokia" or a "Samsung" is for two primary ````reasons. The 1st reason is cost of manufacturing, most our phones are manufactured in 10,000s whereas a "Nokia" will be manufactured in millions and thus the unit price is cheaper. The second reason is that the majority of mobile phones you see on the high street are endorsed / subsided by the networks in order to encourage people to take out contracts or use the respective network's services. So for example when you get a Nokia N95 for free, it’s on an expensive long contract and the money the network makes helps subsidise the cost of the handset. If you wanted to buy an unlocked and unendorsed Nokia N95 it would cost in the region of £500, when looked at like this, our handsets offer great value and peace of mind which is priceless.

  • Which network shall i choose?

Generally there are two factors to consider when deciding which network to choose. 1. The network coverage in the area in which the phone is going to be used, you can check network coverage by postcode here 2. If the you are going to be making lots of outgoing calls to a particular network or someone is going to be calling you alot, then choosing the same network can often work out more cost effective. You can check the network call charges here. If you have any further questions give us a call on 01628 539 984 or email sales@matobmobile.co.uk
